Vintage Sekonda Automatic – 25 Jewels – USSR – Slava 2427

A striking vintage Soviet Sekonda automatic wristwatch dating from approximately the 1970s.

The watch features a silver sunburst dial with an unusual combination of applied hour markers and black minute-number blocks, together with a large day/date display at 3 o'clock. The distinctive textured cushion-style case gives it a particularly strong 1970s appearance.

Inside is the Soviet Slava calibre 2427, a 25-jewel automatic mechanical movement. The actual movement is shown in detail in the photographs and is clearly marked 2427.

The dial is signed SEKONDA – 25 JEWELS – AUTOMATIC – USSR and retains a very attractive vintage appearance. There are age-related marks and patina visible on close inspection, particularly around the dial/crystal perimeter, consistent with a genuine vintage watch.
