Powered by a Swiss 17-jewel manual-winding mechanical movement with Incabloc shock protection. The movement is clean and well preserved and features attractive decorative textured finishing to the bridges. The watch is currently running well and keeping good time.

A beautiful early-1950s Longines gentleman's wristwatch, powered by the celebrated Longines calibre 12.68Z hand-wound mechanical movement.

The movement carries serial number 8,434,343, placing its production at approximately 1951 according to published Longines serial-number tables.

The watch features a wonderfully characterful cream/champagne dial with applied gold-tone Arabic numerals at 12, 3 and 9, matching applied hour markers and elegant gold-tone hands. A recessed subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o'clock completes the classic mid-century appearance.

The dial has developed attractive and clearly visible age-related patina, spotting and colour variation over approximately 75 years. This has been left exactly as found and gives the watch the unmistakable character of a genuine vintage piece. Please study the close-up photographs carefully for its exact cosmetic condition.

Vintage Oris 15 Jewels Swiss Manual-Wind Watch – Unusual Star Dial – c.1950s

A wonderfully characterful vintage Oris Swiss mechanical wristwatch, believed to date from around the 1950s.

\n

The standout feature is the beautiful and unusual dial configuration, combining applied Arabic numerals with alternating applied gold-tone star hour markers. Together with the subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o'clock and decades of natural patina, it gives this watch a particularly distinctive appearance.

\n

The watch is powered by an Oris Calibre 461, 15-jewel Swiss manual-winding mechanical movement. The movement is signed 15 Jewels / Swiss Made / Cal. 461.

\n

The inside of the case back is correctly signed ORIS WATCH CO. SWISS and also carries several hand-engraved watchmaker markings accumulated during its long life. I have deliberately photographed these because they form an interesting part of the watch's history.

\n

The gold-tone 32.30mm case shows substantial genuine age-related wear, scratches and loss of plating, while the dial displays spotting, discolouration and patina, particularly around its outer edge.

\n

Nothing has been polished or disguised for the photographs. Please study the detailed close-up images carefully.

\n

Despite its wonderfully aged appearance, the watch is working very well, winding correctly and running strongly.

\n

It is fitted with a brown leather strap with contrasting stitching, which complements the aged gold-tone case particularly well.

\n

This is not a restored vintage watch and is not being presented as one. Its appeal is precisely its honest, heavily patinated condition and distinctive star-and-number dial — approximately three-quarters of a century of visible history preserved rather than erased.

As with any vintage mechanical watch of this age, modern quartz accuracy and water resistance should not be expected. No service history is known beyond the historic watchmaker markings visible inside the case back.

A superbly preserved 1980 Saga wristwatch made by Timex in Great Britain, featuring a striking military-inspired black dial and classic 12/24-hour layout.

Vintage Carpentier Genève Ladies Swiss Mechanical Watch – New Old Stock

A beautiful new-old-stock Carpentier Genève ladies' dress watch, Swiss made and presented in remarkably well-preserved condition.

\n

The elegant champagne/silver sunburst dial features applied gold-tone hour markers and hands, with CARPENTIER GENEVE and SHOCKPROTECTED signed on the dial.

\n

The gold-plated case retains an excellent bright finish and is clearly stamped “GOLDPLATED G 10 MICRONS”, indicating a 10-micron gold-plated finish. The stainless-steel case back is marked SWISS MADE and reference/serial 12328.

\n

Inside is a traditional Swiss 17-jewel mechanical hand-winding movement.

\n

The watch measures approximately 28mm across the case, making it an elegant size particularly suited to a woman's wrist.

\n

Condition: New Old Stock. The watch appears to have remained unused and is exceptionally well preserved for its age. Please study the detailed photographs, including the movement, case markings and dial, as these form part of the description.
